Object: A hollow chocolate Easter bunny
How many of you have seen these chocolate rabbits in the stores lately? They seem to be everywhere this time of year, don’t they? You know, nowadays it seems like the world wants to put the focus of Easter on the rabbits, the candy, the colorful eggs. I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with any of those things. But it’s also important that we don’t let them distract us from the real meaning of Easter. One thing these rabbits do remind me of. If you let these become the focus of your Easter….
(break open the chocolate rabbit)
it will leave you just like this rabbit. It looks ok on the outside, but when you look inside you find that it’s just…hollow. Don’t let Easter have a hollow meaning for you. Remember Christ is the true meaning of Easter, and He is able to completely fill your heart.
