Going Fishing – Memory Verse Game Idea
Let's Get the Word Out!
Make two sets (or more)of seven fish shapes from foam craft, Put eyes on one side, a split pin on the mouth and a pocket on the back. Place on of the following in the pocket of each fish Hebrews – 13:5 – I – will – never – leave – you. Place the fish in a bucket at one end of the room.
Place children in teams. Each team has a rod with a magnet on the end of a piece of rope attached to the rod. Start a relay race to run to the bucket to catch a fish and take back to the team to put together. The team that wins is the one that catches all the fish and has the verse in the correct order. Any verse can be used with this system.
