Professor Noodlebrane – “Night Vision”

Professor Noodlebrane comes on stage muttering to himself and all of a sudden realized the children’s presence.
Professor Noodlebrane
Oh, hello boys and girls. You’re just in time to see my newest invention. I call it the visual-o-matic-optimizer.
Leader
We are so glad that you could make it Professor Noodlehead.
Professor Noddlebrane
Its Noodlebrane, Proffessor Noodlebrane!

So what does the visual-O-Matic-Optimizer do?
Professor Noodlebrane
Well, it optimizes sight in the dark by magnifying the light received through the pupil which hits the Retina – the sensory tissue that lines the back of the eye. The retina contains millions of photoreceptors (rods and cones) that convert light rays into electrical impulses that are relayed to the brain via the optic nerve…and whalla! You have night vision!

Wow! So what inspired you to create it Mr. Pumpkin brain?

It’s Noddlebrane, Professor noodlebrane! I was reading the bible the other day and it said that if we are children of God we should walk in the light. And so I created the visual-O-Matic-Optimizer!
Leader
It’s true that God said that he wants us to be children of the light. But, the light he was talking about is a spiritual condition. You see when we are not following God it’s like walking in darkness, we can’t see spiritually. But, when we do follow Jesus, God opens our understanding to spiritual things.
Professor Noodlebrane
So we don’t need the visual-o-Matic-Optimizer, we just need to follow Jesus?

That’s right Professor knee biter

Wait a minute! How will we know where he is …I need to create a sonar detection unit so we can find Jesus and follow him…I’ll call it the Guide-O-Matic (Start’s to leave).

(Yells from behind the stage) It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlbrane!

Boys and girls Jesus said that if we follow him we will not walk in spiritual darkness….Now I better catch up with Doctor Needle head before he starts creating the guide-O-Matic. (Leader leaves)
