Professor Noodlebrane comes on the stage with his new invention (a doctored up helmet attached to a portable DVD player and a case of DVD’s)
Noodlebrane:
Hello boys and girls! I’m back again with another invention. I was reading my Bible the other day and it said in Proverbs, “Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, and in another verse it said, “Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.” So I have come up with an invention that will help us get wisdom. I call it the Wiz-O-Matic!
Leader:
Hi Professor Haystacks! What do you have there?
Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane. I was just explaining to the children my newest invention the Wiz-O-Matic. This invention will help these boys and girls fill their little brains with so much wisdom that they’ll win every game show on earth!
Leader:
Wow, Professor Nibble and Bits that’s pretty amazing. So how does it work?
Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane. Well, using this library of DVD’s which includes dictionaries, thesauruses, Bible verses, an almanac, encyclopedia, world history, mathmatics and so much more. It transfers all the information from the DVD’s to this head unit which then using neotheoenergetic technology tattoos the information to your brain and whalla, instant wisdom!
Leader:
That’s incredible, Professor Nitwit!
Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane. There’s only one slight problem, it seems to wipe out all the other information the brain is holding leaving the person with just the information that is on the DVD.
Leader:
You know the Bible says we get wisdom from the Word of God and through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. We can also gain wisdom from people who may have more experience then we do like our mom and dad, teachers, a pastor and others
We also can get wisdom from our own life experiences.
Noodlebrane:
Yes, yes but if we can just tattoo our brains with all this information we would be wise in all areas
Leader:
Well, professor Stroodles….
Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane Professor Noodlebrane..
Leader:
The Bible also says in James 1:5 that if any one needs wisdom they should ask God and God will give them the wisdom they need
Noodlebrane:
What!? Let me see that book (reading from the Bible) “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.”
Leader:
You see Professor Noodlebreath….
Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane…
Leader:
If we need wisdom in any situation all we need to do is ask God
Noodlebrane:
That’s very interesting. I wonder if the Wiz-O-Matic would work on dogs….
(Leaves stage whistling and calling for his dog Bowser)
Leader:
You know boys and girls if you ever need wisdom just ask God, and God will give you the wisdom you need. Well, I better help Professor Noodleface find his dog. Bye.
