“Lightware” – greatest Christian fashion trend since WWJD bracelets
Professor Noodlebrane:
Lets see…the carbon chloride batteries are filled. The luminary lights are all in place…(notices the kids) Oh, hi there boys and girls. You’re just in time to see my newest invention. This is a breakthrough! I believe this will be the greatest Christian fashion trend since…WWJD bracelets. I call it Lightware! Allow me to demonstrate. (Dr. Noodlebrane chooses a child from the audience to put on a sweatshirt and sweatpants lined with Christmas lights).
There we go. Now all I have to do is through the switch and Walla (turn on lights) you will be shining bright where ever you go.
Leader:
(Comes on stage) Wow Professor Chicken-n-bones (he/she) sure is bright.
Professor Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane. Well you know I’ve been reading the Bible and it says in Matthew 5:14 that we are the light of the world. We are supposed to let our light shine in the darkness, so I invented “Lightware”. A fashion all in its self don’t you think. Now no matter where Christians go they will be shining their light all around.
Leader:
Well, Professor Nickle and Dimes…
Professor Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane
Leader:
The Bible isn’t talking about light from light bulbs but the light of Jesus that shows through our actions and words. When we are loving people Jesus is shining through us.
Professor Noodlebrane:
That’s brilliant! I need to work on that right away!
Leader:
Work on what? Professor Clinging Chimes
Professor Noodlebrane:
It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane. On a love display screen that will show the love that’s in our hearts to the people around us. Maybe I can make it a necklace with a screen. I need to gather the supplies for this invention….This will be a great invention. I’ll call it “The Love Machine”. (Professor Noodlebrane leaves)
Leader:
Wait! Professor Nucklehead.
Professor Noodlebrane:
(From off stage) It’s Noodlebrane, Professor Noodlebrane
Leader:
You know kids Jesus is the light of the world and he said that we are also the light of the world. When you accept Jesus into your heart his love will shine through you to others and people will know that Jesus lives inside of you by his Spirit. So remember to let his light shine through you. Now, I better see if I can catch up to Professor Noodlehead.
