We need funds to send our youth to Church of God Winterfestin NY. We decided to raise funds by preparing homemade soups. We made three varities that were donated by ladies in our church. We also served chili, which was a big hit. Then on one Sunday a month we had Take A-long Sunday, Lunch TO GO. We packaged our soup in to-go containers served with a soft roll for $4.00. The response was WONDERFUL. This same ideal could also we used with other types of food. It is great for seniors, they really loved it. We will be doing this again in the winter for funds for Winterfest. This beats the over used bake sale.
