The “quiet game” is often used in this kind of situation, such as when children’s church is in a room right next to the santuary, and the kids can’t get too loud during those last five minutes of the service. Try this variation. Challenge the kids to sit completely still and quiet, but choose one child to go around the room and try to make someone laugh. The rule is that they can’t touch anyone, so no tickling. The kids in my church love it. by Sarah Brown
