We belong to a SMALL church, and there are not many people ready to volunteer to run drawings, games and booths. What they are willing to do is sit in a chair at the trunk of their cars, handing out candy to children in the church parking lot.
What you do is have the willing, decorate their car with fall decorations or even a few creepy creatures. One that I saw even had a DVD player playing “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” out of their mini van. Anyway, they park the cars side by side so all of the trunks are facing the same direction and kids “Trunk or Treat” at the cars. It saves parents the hassel of driving them all over and it’s an outreach all in one. by Kris Bone
