Slime Offering Contest

One of the highlights every year for VBS is WHO WILL WIN THE OFFERING CONTEST??? The kids give their offering every night (Monday through Friday) with the amounts from the boys and girls kept secret and separate. They also get to put their names in a drawing to get SLIMED. On Friday night, the amount is tallied up. The winner’s name (boy or girl) is pulled out of the basket and the loser’s name is also pulled out. The Children’s Pastor (female) and her husband also get in the act. The winner gets to SLIME the loser. We do this on the stage in the sanctuary, but we have a row of human bouncers to keep the kids back. You would be suprised how far a little slime can go.
