Scripture Memorization Set To Music

Children learn well when concepts are put to a song. Think of the ABC’s you learned as a kid, "Jesus Loves Me" and Nursey Rhymes set to music. Take scripture memorization to this level and put a short verse to the tune of a familiar kid’s song like Mary Had a Little Lamb. I have used this with children aged 3-5 and three months later they can still sing the verse when asked. What about singing the books of the Bible to the tune of the ABC’s? Children will learn and you will remember them easier too.
