Instead of the children attending church invite the adults to attend Sunday school I use the same format I would for Sunday School just extending the segments to fill in the time- I did include church announcements but in a fun way adults were expected to participate as I believe doing is far more educational than watching and this way they were learning what the children do and how they learn about God I used object lessons, games (active and quiet), craft and children’s songs to deliver the key message of the day. The prayers were active prayers and I even included a memory verse we have a lot of while learning
