Wacky Tacky Banquet
Pass This Along!
Every year around Valentine’s day, we have a Wacky Tacky Banquet. The food is breakfast at supper time, the clothes can be mis-matched, backwards, inside-out, etc., and the decorations are every holiday including Valentine’s day, and birthdays. The kids love it because the adult volunteers take their orders like a real restaurant and then they are served by the adults. We have games, entertainment such as puppets, karaoke, stick-team performances. The kids go home with candy (prizes from the games)and a full stomach. We used to have it on the Wednesday night before Valentine’s Day, but this year we had it on a Saturday night and the kids could invite their friends, and the parents could have a date night. A good time was had by all.
