This is one way I try to meet new kids and make them feel welcome at our church. I send new kids a postcard in the mail letting them know how glad I am that they have come to our church. I tell them to bring the postcard to me the next time they come to church. By doing this I get to meet them in person and then I let them choose a small gift from a stash of stuff I keep on hand all the time.
