There’s A Hole In The Bottom Of The Sea
Our children’s church is being decorated with a sunken pirate ship and we are studying "Diving for God’s Treasures". As we transition between lesson and object lesson and gospel truths, we have puppet skits. One of our favorite new skits is a silly song reenactment of the song There’s a hole in the bottom of the sea. It provides the kids with a silly distraction as we transition from topic to topic. Another silly song skit is "school days: fish school". We act out the familiar song "School Days" but we add a deep blue sea twist in the words. Once again the object of the song is silly transition time to keep kids interested.
