SUPPLIES: coins of little value, a comb, a candy bar, a large currency bill
Show the children each of the above items in the order listed, asking them if it would be easy to give it back to someone who lost it. Help the children admit that things that they would like, such as the candy bar or the valuable bill would be difficult to return. Ask the children if it would be okay to keep anything that they saw someone else drop. It would not. Impress upon the children that an honest person always does what is right. It is never right to keep something that does not belong to them, even if they like it very much. Pray with the children that they will be honest even when it is not easy to do so.
