Showing Love
Let's Get the Word Out!
Have the children list ways that people show them their love. Assist them in thinking of things like helping them, giving them a card or gift, taking care of them when their sick, giving them food and clothes and a house to live in, talking with them, praying with them, reading the Bible to them, being kind, etc. Ask which of these ways the children can show love back to people. (help them, make a card or gift, visit them if sick, talk to them, pray with them, be kind) Explain to the children that God want s them to show love to people just like people have shown them–or like He shows love to them. Pick a few children and allow them to ask God to help them show love in one ways (Tell each person one of the listed ways before he or she prays.)
