Let's Get the Word Out!
SUPPLIES: action figures
Show the action figures to the children. If the company advertises any special features for the figures, point those features out to the children, i.e. karate chop, missile launcher, etc. Ask the children for examples of how they would play with the figures. Suggest that it would be nice to set up a little tea party and have the action figures sit around and eat cookies and drink tea. Maybe they could even have flowers. Or, what about a sleep over? By this time, the boys should be reacting with groans. Ask why they do not like those ideas. It is because the action figures were made to fight. Ask if the children know why they were made. They were created to fellowship with and serve God. They were made to be kind to each other. God wants them to be kind to each other. He does not want them to fight with one another.
