It’s very close to the end of summer. Are you excited for school to begin? For some of you school has already started.

At our house the summer means some additional things to do around the house. Does your Mom or Dad ever say to you "Don’t Forget" when reminding you to do something? Like making your bed, putting your toys away, picking up the yard, dusting and vacuuming the house?
Do you ever get sick of them saying, "Don’t forget?" Why do they say that? Could it possibly be because at some point maybe you forgot to do something? They want you to remember.

We are ready for Worship centers to begin this fall. It is important to remember the word from Hebrews 13:8,16. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Some of the stories of doing good things and sharing with others you have heard before. It’s our way of saying, "Don’t forget." Some stories you will hear for the first time. But they will be repeated, as you grow older.

Just think about how many times your parents and grandparents have heard some of these stories. Just as when they were children and their parents told them, "Don’t forget." These special stories from the Bible bear repeating.

Jesus is the same yesterday, (your parents and grand parents) today, (you) and forever (your children and grandchildren).
