Wow, did you watch any of the Olympics yet? Do you know what that is? It is sporting competition from most of the countries around the world.

Do you know anybody in the Olympics?

If you wanted to be the best runner, jumper, swimmer, or cyclist (ok Lance Armstrong) would you follow the training habits of the winner or someone who was leading by a long distance? Or would you pick someone out like me who hasn’t been leading or winning these types of events. You would pick the leader.

How much do they work out? How much do they practice? Do they just do it for a little while? Or do they constantly study how to do it better?

You will see some special athletic performances over the next two weeks. However, when you see someone win think about what is says in the Bible in the New Testament book of Hebrews, "Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it."

Keep your eyes on Jesus, he the won the race. Watch how he leads his race, what does he do differently from everyone else. He treats all people special. He loves all. He has no enemies. He teaches from the Old Testament. He loves children.

As summer wraps up, Worship centers will be starting soon. You will get to learn about this Special person who leads us.

In life Jesus is the Olympic Champion in all events. Study how he did it!
