The Eruption of God’s Spirit
Pass This Along!
Need: Paper plate, disposable cup, aluminum foil, 2 tablespoons water, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 2 tablespoons vinegar, and a pan.
Preparation: Tape the bottom of the disposable cup to the middle of the plate. Cover the plate and cup with aluminum foil; poke a hole through the foil in the center of the cup; cut slits to edge of cup and fold down edges, then tape inside cup to make form of a volcano. Place the volcano on a pan (to avoid a big mess); fill volcano with 2 tablespoons water and stir in 1 tablespoon of baking soda. In a separate cup measure 2 tablespoons of vinegar; pour all the vinegar in the volcano at once.
While God’s Spirit dwells in each of us, there must be a decision every day to follow the leading of God’s Spirit. By inviting, listening and being obedient to God’s Spirit you are pouring Him into your life. Because God’s Spirit is powerful when you pour Him into your life He will cause the power and love of Jesus to explode out of you. Everyone will be able to see the power of God that is inside of you when you add the ingredient of God’s Spirit.
