Text- (Galatians 5:17& 25) For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (New International Version)

How is your summer going? Have you had any problems? Have all your choices been good ones?
Do you think all my choices have been good ones? No, making bad choices happens to everyone, but we can learn from our mistakes.
We need to remember that the Spirit of the Lord dwells in us. The Holy Spirit can help us make good decisions.
Sometimes it’s easy to be talked into making bad choices. We have been talking about being wonderful reflections of God. Do you look in the mirror when you are in a fight or argument? Are you somewhat at fault? Do you reflect God’s presence in what you do?
You have God’s presence in you, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is always around trying to guide you in your decisions.
No matter where you are and what you are doing you can always pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you. It’s the spark that God places inside each and every one of you.
The choices we make, good and bad, reflect the kind of child you are.
