Happy Mother’s Day! Did you give you mother something special today? You received a gift from you mother today. The gift from your mother is that she brought you here today.
Your mom’s are special and so are you. I can always tell when a mom is special to a child. What happens when you fall down and get hurt? If you scrape you knee or elbow? If you see that you are bleeding. What is the first thing you do? Besides start crying.
You run to mom. And what does she do?
She hugs you and wipes away every tear from your eyes. She tells you that you will be all right. The pain will go away and she will help you get better.
What your mother does when you are hurting is what Heaven is like. Where Jesus will wipe every tear from your eyes. There will be no death or crying or pain.
Next time you fall down and get hurt, and you will; when you run to mom and get your hug and tears removed; remember you just had a little taste of Heaven.
