Do you say prayers at your house? Like God is great, God is good, let us thank him for our food Amen? Or, Come Lord Jesus be our guest let these gifts to us be blessed. Amen.

Are you hungry when you say prayers like that? Do you say them fast to get them over with?

Maybe before you go to bed you are so tired you say them fast because you want to go to sleep?

I think God understands when you are hungry and tired. Does God want to listen to empty prayers? Without care or meaning? God wants you to think about what you pray for, not empty requests. Let me give you a better idea what I mean.

What do I have here? (The empty carton of milk that they see in school, be careful not to give away that it is empty) What is in it? Is it cold? Would it be refreshing right now?

What if you were in school and you picked up your milk after waiting in line got to your seat and you opened it up (open it) and (tip it over) there was nothing in it? Looks like it’s full of milk, cold like it has milk in it. No milk, empty, that’s the way it came here.

God waits for your prayer, God is anxious to hear from you, and it sounds like a prayer. Will it be what God is waiting for? Or will it be empty (tip over the milk carton again) because you were in a hurry.

Remember before you eat and before you go to bed and any other time will your prayer be full or empty?

Prop-I used a factory mistake. I used a milk carton that was processed empty. There are also soft drink cans that are processed this way. Your local grocery or dairy stores have them.
