Want to Tell Somebody?
When Jesus recognized that only one of ten former lepers came back to say thanks He expressed concern. There may be times when not saying thank you does not imply an ungrateful attitude. We have so many things to be thankful about. In our society we have forgotten the value of saying “thank you”. We rush through our days thinking about what’s next and we don’t stop long enough to express our feelings. You and I are often appreciative of what others have done for us but do we remember to say thanks? We need to THINK to THANK! (While presenting this message visually you can exchange the A in THANK replacing it with an I creating the word THINK! The phrase “think to thank” kind of rolls off your tongue. By having the kids repeat this expression several times it helps to them retain the principle.) Remember to THINK to THANK!
