Giving A Praise Report

Power Point: We need to give praise reports for what God has done for us.
Ephesians 5:20 Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Supplies: a report card
How many of you know what a praise report is? (Allow time for children to respond.) You might define it by turning the words around and saying it’s a report of praise. I’m sure all of you know what a report card is. (Show the report card.) It gives your parents a report of what you have done at school. Well, a praise report is when we give a report of praise of what God has done for us to our parents and friends. If you have ever received a report card with excellent marks all the way down, you wanted everyone to know. Well, when God does something for you, it’s much the same way. We give a praise report to others to let them know. Maybe it is an example of God healing you or someone in your family. (Give some example from your life.) Would someone like to share a praise report with us? (Allow the children to share some praises.) 
That’s wonderful. God does good things for us because we trust Him. God wants to work in our lives. Let’s take a moment to pray and thank God for these great praise reports. (Lead in prayer.)
