My wife and I recently stepped out to fulfill God's calling and pursue full time children's evangelism. We appreciate your burden for kids and share some of your views and fears. It seems so difficult for some pastors, churches and even sunday school teachers to grasp the view of reaching the next generation. They look at children as "lesser" in importance to the main congregation and thus a generation of young people are lost somewhere in the mix. We pray God will continue to call people to children's evangelsim and that they will not hesitate to step out and follow him. Lonny Adams (www.cleanheartkids.com)

I stumbled upon this article and I know that it was a divine meeting from God. A couple of years ago, God called me to be a children's evangelist to rural churches who could not afford to pay and in most cases have few children in the church. We have been blessed abundantly and finances have not been the reason for the delay. I was simply afraid to take the first step. This article reminded me that children's souls are the goal and as of today, I am going to do what God told me to do.

Wow, after reading this my heart sinks! We have not had a kids crusade in years. AND not even a regular evangelist! A few special weekend events but I am told there are no evangelists any more! The Lord is coming soon, we need to do all we can.

Jerry, You have proverbially hit the nail on the head with this incredibly insightful article! Being on the road myself since 1995, I relate to many of your comments. I pray with you for a new generation of Children's Evangelists.
