Over a century ago, Sam Loyd designed one of the most popular and magical puzzles ever created-more than ten million copies were produced! This genuine puzzle masterpiece is called “Get Off the Earth” and features a posse of sword-wielding Chinese warriors. I was inspired to re-imagine Sam’s puzzle with an added gospel flavor and had been tinkering around with this for over a year. Then, one day, my daughter Christy suggested using clowns. Viola! Gospel Adaptation for the Effects “Color Deception” or “Black & White Surprise”

If you don’t already own it, I strongly recommend you seek out an effect called “Color Deception,” or “Black & White Surprise” (See Note below).
This is a great effect that fools just about everyone and may be completely examined at the conclusion! And, although it was not intended for use as a witnessing tool, it is perfect for use that way.
In this effect, the performer has a brass chip in either hand; the right hand’s chip is white and the left hand’s chip is black. The hands are closed and turned over; when re-opened the white chip is now black and the black chip is white. This is repeated and the chips again change places. A Smoother, More Convincing Way To Perform “King Of Hearts”
The “King of Hearts” card trick was the first effect produced by Dock Haley Gospel Magic. It is a Great trick and certainly one of the best witnessing tools ever created in the Gospel magic world. It requires no sleights at all and I’m not going to assign any to it either. But, there are a couple of little suggestions I’d like to make in the hope that your presentation of the trick may be even more convincing.
Let’s assume that you’ve loaded the King of Hearts into the flap between the two other cards. You then display the fan to your spectator and ask them what they see. You get them to agree that the King of Hearts is the center card. Jesus Blood Will Wash Away Your Sin
I bought some of that paper that dissolves from water and I cut out slips of paper. I had each child write their name on one side and some sins on the other. During our small group time each group came and nailed their name to the cross. Then in the big group session we got everyone together and we went outside and took the blood — water with food coloring in it and we washed the cross with the blood and all of our names with our sins underneath —- disappeared.
