During a Back to school party, we gave all the children a “Back to School Survival Kit”. Each kit contained the following items and explainations: a TOOTHPICK - to remind you to pick out good qualities in others (Matthew 7:1) a RUBBER BAND - to remind you to be flexible when things dont go your way. They will work out (Romans 8:28) a BAND AID - to remind you to heal hurt feeling (Col 3:12-14) a PENCIL - to remind you to list your blessings every day (Eph 1:3) a ERASER - to remind you that everyone makes mistakes, its Okay (Genesis 50:15-21) CHEWING GUM - To remind you to stick with it (Phil 4:13) a MINT - to remind you that you are worth a mint (Jh3:16-17 a CANDY KISS - reminds you that everyone needs a kiss or hug everyday (Jh 4:7) a TEA BAG - reminds you to relax and go over your list of blessings daily (1 Thessalonians 5:18) The kids love the variety.
